Fairfield Inn Ontario Airport

I was only here for one night, but it was very pleasant. When you arrive at the airport you need to call the hotel for a shuttle. The shuttle runs from 5 am to 11 pm every half hour but you must arrange for it in advance.

My shuttle didn;t show up at the specified time so I had to make a second call and was picked up immediately. The driver was so sorry that she forgot about me she promised to buy me 2,000 Marriott Rewards points. That was nice, but not really necessary.

The room was comfortable and like at other Marriott properties now has an upgraded bed. I am not sure what the threadcount is, but it was comfortable.

In addition to the free shuttle, the hotel also offers a free breakfast starting at 6 am on weekdays and free high speed internet access, both wired and wireless.

I picked up a AAA discount and booked via the internet for $94 plus another $11 in taxes which was cheap for the area and time of year.

The staff is friendly and courteous which is another plus.

This is a great choice for a short stay and close proximity to the airport (10 minutes).

Hotel costs have risen substantially in the last 2 years so even though this may seem pricey for a limited service hotel I think it provides a good value.
