Renaissance Suites Charlotte

The Marriott Renaissance Suites is located near the airport and right next to the old Charlotte Coliseum outside the downtown area of Charlotte. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the hotel decor is pleasant. I particularly liked the large American flag hangin in the atrium of the hotel.

For suite lovers this hotel doesn't provide breakfast as part of the stay like Embassy Suites nor is high speed wi-fi access included either ($10 extra). Since I have a t-mobile account I drove to the nearest Starbucks and connected. There is plenty of shopping and dining available within a few miles of the hotel and based on construction there will be a lot more in the next 6-12 months.

I had a very enjoyable stay and for $98 plus tax it wasn't a bad deal.
